SUMMER FUN DAY Sunday 12th July We have a fantastic day
planned and really appreciate the great support from the parish and school
community so far. The activities start at 12pm. Food and drink for all the
family and a range of stalls and activities for you to enjoy whilst sharing
an afternoon with the local community. Why not invite your friends and neighbours
to come along too? See the Summer Fun Day team after each Mass this weekend
to donate items or volunteer to help on the day. Please plan to bring all
donations to the School on Saturday 11th July if you can or, if not,
in the week before. Bring cakes for the cake stall on the day.
SUMMER FUN DAY VOLUNTEERS We urgently now need volunteers
to help setting up and manning the stalls, moving furniture, directing car-parking
and generally helping on the day. Please sign up on the lists on display
after Mass, in the School playground from Monday 6th July, or email Richard
Savage at summerfunday@btinternet.com. Please also take a poster to display
in a prominent place.
SUMMER FUN DAY GRAND DRAW Please keep selling
raffle tickets. There are a fantastic set of prizes this year. Ticket stubs
and money should be returned by 12th July to the School Office or the
Church Porch after Mass. The draw will take place at the Fun Day at around
2.45pm. Any queries contact Phil Melling on 07887 644636.
SUMMER FUN DAY CAR PARKING for 11.15 Mass. Please park on
Altwood Road or at Altwood School if you can so as to minimise congestion
in the school parking areas.
Mission Mass There will be an APF Mill Hill Mission Mass at 7.30pm on Monday 13th July at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Reading.

SCHOOL NEWS
Vacancies Please see the noticeboard in the church lobby
for details of job vacancies at our school and nursery.
G10 SUMMIT Monday 6th July all day All classes have a particular Sustainability doorway which they study throughout the year, e.g. waste, travel and traffic, etc. Last year we ran a very successful event in which groups of children from each class took it in turns to tell other pupils in the school what they have learnt. This year we would like to invite parents and parishioners in to school at any time from 9.30-11.30 or 1.30-3.00 to find out more about our sustainability learning.
